Trident Consulting is seeking a " Hyperion Consultant" for one of our clients in " USA - REMOTE " A global leader in business and technology services. Role: Hyperion Consultant Location: USA - REMOTE Duration: Contract Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and assist in development of existing on prem Hyperion Essbase/Planning applications Write and fix various Calculation Scripts Enhance and support web based data entry forms within the Hyperion Planning application Perform Essbase outline changes and create reports as required Responsible for all problem resolution, incident closure and reporting Utilize query tools to analyze and reconcile data and to produce ad hoc reports Rotational on-call responsibility to support a worldwide service level agreement Qualifications: 3+ years current hands-on experience and understanding of Hyperion Essbase (Version 11.2 or higher), Hyperion Planning (Version 11.2 or higher) 5+ years working experience with Forecasting and Fiscal Budget systems Master proficiency with the Hyperion Excel Smart View component and its ability to query data Experience in writing system scripts with EssCMD and if possible MaxL A proven track record for providing insightful analytical skills and creative problem solving Excellent written skills needed for technical documentation Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills Proficient production support troubleshooting skills Ability to write technical specifications, program, test, and manage the transition of modifications through the quality assurance and change control process A Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience is required Additional Skills & Competencies: SQL scripting and VB would be a plus Ability to dissect business problems into functional solutions Effective communication, with technical and non-technical people.
