C2C Role | SAP EWM Architect Job Title: SAP EWM Architect Location: Boston, MA (Remote) Duration: Long-Term Contract Client: Pharmaceutical Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions to meet the client's business needs. Define and document technical requirements, integration points, and best practices for SAP EWM and associated systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the EWM solution aligns with the overall enterprise architecture and business objectives. Manage and oversee the SAP EWM implementation lifecycle, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP EWM, advising project teams and business users on functional and technical aspects. Provide guidance on warehouse management processes, including inbound/outbound logistics, storage management, and inventory management. Ensure seamless integration between SAP EWM and other SAP modules such as SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and SAP TM (Transportation Management). Optimize the EWM system by implementing performance improvements and automation where appropriate. Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP EWM, providing ongoing system enhancements and support. 10+ years of experience in SAP, with a strong focus on SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management). Proven experience as an SAP EWM Architect in large-scale implementations, particularly within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes, including inventory management, material handling, and logistics execution. Hands-on experience with SAP EWM integration with SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP TM, and other SAP modules. Deep understanding of SAP EWM functionalities, including inbound/outbound processes, warehouse structure design, stock removal and placement strategies, and physical inventory. Strong configuration skills in SAP EWM and ability to develop custom solutions where necessary. Experience with RF (Radio Frequency), mobile data entry systems, and other warehouse automation technologies.
