About Us:

Join our close-knit Risk and Analytics team, which focuses on maintaining and optimizing data processes to support our organization's financial and operational decision-making. Our collaborative group values accountability, technical expertise, and having fun together. We're transitioning to Snowflake, and were looking for a skilled SQL Developer to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support data analytics and reporting functions.
Assist in the migration of data processes to the Snowflake platform.
Write and optimize Python scripts for data manipulation, automation, and integration with existing processes.
Collaborate with finance teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance for financial reporting and analysis.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of data processes.
Monitor system performance and assist in optimizing query performance on Snowflake.
Contribute to team efforts by sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and being accountable for deliverables.

Qualifications:
6-8+ years of experience in SQL development (experience with complex queries and performance tuning is a plus).
Strong experience with Python scripting for data manipulation and automation.
Familiarity with Snowflake, including data warehousing concepts and optimization.
Solid understanding of finance or experience in a finance-related role.
Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development is a plus.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating strong collaboration and accountability.
A passion for solving problems, improving processes, and contributing to team success.
