| Description: Engineer, Software Contractor Front-End Web Applications location :CA Responsibilities: Work as part of a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software Aid in code reviews for fellow team members, as required Create unit tests to help ensure code quality throughout the applications life cycle Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources once deployed Continue to improve code quality by tracking, reducing and avoiding technical debt Required Knowledge and Skills: 3+ years of experience with Angular 9 or above 1+ years of experience working with UX/Figma Significant experience building web-based applications and RESTful APIs Shipping new features in a SPA environment. Thoughtful about creating the right architecture but realizing the realities of having customers and the need to ship software. Understand agile and enjoy working in 2-week release cycles. A can-do attitude and ability to make a positive impact our culture. Ability to always put the customer first Enjoy helping mentor junior engineers. Preferred Knowledge and Skills: 1+ years experience building a shared component library or contributing to a design system 1+ years of experience with Nx Monorepo 1+ years of experience deploying applications in the public cloud using technologies like Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes. 1+ years of experience building event-driven architectures using messaging systems/service bus, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ 1+ years of experience with a microservices architecture 1+ years of public cloud experience Deploying service oriented and microservices architectures Work Conditions: Onshore/Remote environment Ability to travel 10% of the time. Mandatory Skills Angular :Strong understanding on Angular Concepts (Components,Directives,Services,Modules,Templates,Forms,Dependency Injection, Routing,Pipes, Interceptors, HTTP Client, Lifecycle Hooks) UX/Figma : Strong understanding of utilizing UX principles and tools such as Figma to design user interfaces RESTful AP : Good knowledge on (Handling asynchronous operations with Promises, Consuming RESTful APIs with XMLHttpRequest ,Authentication and authorization in API integration, Error handling in RESTful API calls, Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) in JavaScript UI : Hands-on experience in front-end development with strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript Coding Test : Evaluate Coding Test & Coding Standards and write a simple code snippet to determine whether a number was even or odd. Good to Have Skills Methodology Good exposure to Agile & Scrum Methodologies, GIT, Confluence Architecture Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven architectures using messaging systems/service bus, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
