Job Title: Network Support Engineer Location: NYC, NY/ Alpharetta, GA (Work from Office) Duration: Long Term Contract Responsibilities: Need to be able to write, read, and debug code that can interact with network devices and APIs. You should be familiar with common scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Perl, as well as frameworks and libraries such as Ansible, Netmiko, Nornir, or PyATS. You should also understand the basic concepts of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and error handling Should know the protocols, standards, models, and architectures that govern network communication, such as TCP/IP, OSI, Ethernet, VLAN, IP, ARP, ICMP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, and more. You should also be able to troubleshoot network issues using tools such as ping, traceroute, telnet, SSH, or Wireshark.
