| From: Dolly Rawat, TEK INSPIRATIONS LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Job Title: SAP PS Consultant Location: Houston, TX, USA Duration: 6+ months (with potential extensions) Start Date: ASAP Hours per week: 40 hours Job Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled SAP PS Consultant to join their Operations ITOT Project Systems team to support Merger, Acquisition & Divestiture activities, as well as manage ongoing "run the business" tasks. The ideal candidate will be experienced in SAP R3 with a focus on capital project management, procurement, and financial reporting. Additionally, the role will involve end-user support, training documentation, and data cleansing/enrichment efforts. Key Responsibilities: Provide end-user support and training on SAP PS functionalities, ensuring smooth operation of capital projects. Coordinate and execute the creation of job aids, training materials, and metrics related to SAP and IT applications. Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of Operations IT/OT solutions, supporting business processes and policies. Support data cleansing and data enrichment activities as needed for project systems. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues and ensure that processes align with business needs. Critical Tasks: Manage Project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), reporting, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and delegation of authority (DoA) within SAP PS. Collaborate on IT projects and system carves related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Understand and integrate procurement and sourcing processes for materials and labor/service requests. Build a solid understanding of the relationships between key departments: Purchasing, Sourcing, Accounts Payable (AP), Finance, Tax, and others. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in SAP R3 for managing capital projects, with expertise in procurement and financial management functions. Experience in IT projects and system carves related to mergers and acquisitions. Strong understanding of the Procurement/Sourcing processes and how they integrate with other functions like Finance and AP. Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes. Strong team player with attention to detail and a results-driven approach. Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
