| Hi , We do have a job opening - Fin-ops Specialist (GCP) --- Charlotte NC Skills: Must Have 3+ years experience in GCP,Fin-ops and Cost management Note: Please share 10+ years candidate Client-Mphasis JD In this role, you will Drive cloud optimization and empower app teams to realize business value. Discover cost-saving and optimization opportunities and actively collaborate with the app teams to support execution. Implement strategies like rightsizing, auto-scaling, storage optimization, cost anomalies etc. Manage cloud costs effectively and provide stakeholders with the information to make value-driven decisions. Ensure that cost management practices are well-understood and implemented. Use Cloudability to create and provide continuous cost transparency to app owners. Encourage cross-functional collaboration to implement cost-effective architectural patterns, review resource usage patterns, and iterate on optimization strategies. Collaborate with finance, technology, and business teams to mature FinOps governance processes including embedding FinOps functions into existing governance and architectural review processes. Automate cloud cost management processes using scripting and other methodologies. Required Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of experience in cost management in a GCP environment. Solid knowledge of AI services (GCP and Azure) In-depth knowledge of cloud services, architecture and cost mechanics (compute, containers, databases, serverless, storage, licensing, amortizations, etc.) Effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an executive presence Demonstrate ability to ask well-crafted questions and present ideas in a clear and compelling manner. Demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and strong business acumen. Demonstrate ability to work in an agile work environment with qualities such as collaborative mindset, adaptability to change, and a proactive problem-solving approach. Experience with on-prem or cloud data and AI/ML technologies and solution. Passion for Cloud, FinOps and maximizing Cloud value for end users. Certified FinOps Practitioner or Certified FinOps Engineer. Desired Qualifications Terraform experience for managing cloud infrastructure and executing optimization changes. Experience with reservation strategies and committed use discounts.
