Description: Our client is seeking a SQL Database Developer/Architect. This position will provide analysis and design of relational databases and systems analysis for support, modernization, and enhancements. Tasks Design, develop and manipulate database management systems, data warehouses and multi-dimensional databases. Formal design of relational databases and provides insight into strategic data manipulation. Implement Database SQL and stored procedures Devise strategies to replace outdated technology and implement them. Cleaning and maintaining databases by removing / archiving / deleting data. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Strategic thinking and planning skills. Strong proactive ability to research, recommend, design, implement, code, and test spatial and tabular data. Communication skills, verbal and written, are required for user and technical meetings and documentation. Skills Required 7+ years - Experience designing and implementing database SQL and stored procedures. 7+ years - Experience in providing analysis and design of relational databases and systems analysis for support, modernization, and enhancements. 7+ years- Experience with cleaning and maintaining databases by removing / archiving / deleting data. Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures and standalone scripts. Experience with Oracle SQL and SQL Developer Experience with data system rules Database conversion and migration Experience with proactive validation and cleansing anomalies Skills Desired Experience with spatial data & systems Experience with Java Experience with databases (formal design of relational databases).
