| Job Title: Data Architect Rate: $65/hr on c2c Client: State of Florida Visa: USC & GC only Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Synapse Analytics, cloud computing, and a solid foundation in data architecture design principles. Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and flexibility are key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Data Architecture Design: Implement robust, scalable, and efficient data architectures following best practices. Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data security and privacy requirements. Data Integration: Manage and integrate data from various sources while overseeing large data pipelines. Problem Solving: Address complex data challenges with strong analytical skills. Collaboration: Work closely with clients and internal teams to assess needs and deliver solutions. Leadership & Team Building: Guide and inspire teams toward achieving common goals. Technical Qualifications: Synapse Analytics & SQL: 4+ years of experience in Synapse Analytics, Dedicated SQL Pools, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Managed Instance. 5+ years of expertise in DDL, DML T-SQL skills, including stored procedure writing, table design, keys, constraints, indexes, transactions, process logging, and error handling. Data Architecture & Governance: 4+ years of experience in data architecture design principles and best practices. 3+ years of experience with data governance and compliance related to data security and privacy. Cloud Computing: 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure, particularly with storage solutions and compute capabilities. Programming: 1+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python or Scala. Salesforce & Middleware: 1+ years of experience with Salesforce, Message MQ, and MuleSoft. Key Competencies: Analytical Skills: Able to identify, evaluate, and solve complex problems. Communication: Clearly convey information in written and verbal formats; listen effectively. Customer Service: Work well with clients, assess their needs, and provide tailored solutions. Decision Making: Make sound, objective decisions based on evaluation of alternatives. Flexibility: Adapt to new information, processes, and unexpected obstacles. Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit friendliness, courtesy, and professionalism.
