Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and ensure coverage across various platforms. Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and other applicable standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, operations) to ensure alignment on quality standards and test coverage. Identify and mitigate risks early in the software development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of secure, high-quality applications. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including test automation, to enhance the overall testing process. Mentor and guide junior QE members, ensuring their growth and development. Perform load, stress, and performance testing of healthcare applications to ensure they can handle large-scale patient data and meet user needs. Report on key quality metrics and performance indicators to upper management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements. Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in healthcare and quality engineering to bring innovation to testing practices. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role. Extensive experience in healthcare IT, with a solid understanding of healthcare workflows, regulations, and data privacy standards. Expertise in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit). Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo. Proficient in scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation. Strong knowledge of databases, SQL queries, and healthcare data formats (e.g., HL7, FHIR). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with healthcare applications (EHR/EMR systems, patient portals, etc.). Certifications in healthcare IT (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems - CPHIMS). Familiarity with cloud-based healthcare applications and infrastructure.
