Why Open: Needs some to ensure the integrity of data associated with Retail SMA and perform oversight functions related to Outsourcing vendor Start: 10/28/24 Duration: 3-4 months with potential to extend Interview Process: 1 round, virtual Background Check (if applicable ): 7 year fed/criminal/state as well as finger printing (which MFS does on candidates first day of work) What the environment / Sell: Growing investment management company, great location Hours / Shift: Standard business hours Notes: Questionnaire answered, onsite 3 days a week Interview process: 1 round, virtual/OFFER This person will be hybrid in Boston (3 days onsite) for a 4-6 month contract that has a possibility of extending. 35 hours per week. Must-Haves: This is a junior level role. The ideal candidate would be local to Boston and is outgoing, takes initiative, and is not afraid to ask questions or think outside of the box. This person should have 1-3 years of experience and proficiency in Excel and InvestCloud APL or similar financial systems. Experience with Onbase and Xceptor are a huge plus. This role will be both an independent and a team contributor. Financial services experience is a plus but not required. BASIC PURPOSE: Under general supervision of the Sr Manager of the Retail SMA Trading Operations Group, the Trading Operations Analyst ensures the integrity of data associated with Retail SMA and performs oversight functions related to Outsourcing vendor. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists with oversight functions related to Retail SMA Outsourcing provider which includes review of daily, weekly and monthly audit reports (such as reconciliation reports, data-checks, frozen accounts, SLA Metrics and error reporting). Responsible for monitoring Model change rotations to ensure timely and accurate execution as well as reviewing changes to the rotation list Provides operational support as it relates to Sales Data Management. These responsibilities include reconciliations to ensure data integrity across internal systems. Responsible for ensuring the sponsor data loads to internal systems accurately and completely. In addition, pulls data from various sponsor systems and runs the daily and T+1 reconciliation which compares the organizations and sponsor model weights. Identifies, communicates issues and collaborates with internal and external teams to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures. Troubleshoot any potential problems as they may arise. Assumes additional responsibilities as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in business, finance or math-related field. 1 to 3 years of industry experience preferred but not required. Experience with financial systems such as Onbase, InvestCloud APL is preferred and Xceptor/AARI is a plus Demonstrated proficiency in Excel. Strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well within a team environment as well as exercising independent judgment from time to time.
