Kindly review the following job requirements and inform me if you are interested Job Role : Lead Software Developer Location: Houston, TX (close to IAH airport) locals only Schedule : Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote until JAN 2025 (then 100% onsite) Visa: USC/GC/GC-EAD & H4-EAD Job Description: Summary: The TechLead/Architect is a hands-on Senior Software Engineer role responsible for helping with technical direction. This individual must be able to define best practices for complex solutions and develop migration of existing on-premise applications to cloud native architectures. This individual must also have strong consultative and communication skills. The individual will work with different stakeholders. Candidate should have deep experience on projects with complex designs / architectures and interfaces especially with azure cloud Azure cloud native, services, docker/containers, scalability in every aspect of the system, performance, problem solving etc. The candidate should have full-stack experience but more solid backend and some familiarity on the front-end but will be helpful as well (like Angular/web Apps, front end App performance aspects etc.). Qualifications: 15+ years working in software development on a variety of projects Strong experience in Cloud methodologies Strong interpersonal and consultative skills Experience: Significant experience in design and development roles Strong background in Azure DevOps including: CI/CD pipeline architecture/creation, working with ADO/Terraform, best deployment practices, and microservices. Significant experience with transformations from traditional operational methodologies to Cloud environments Strong hands-on experience with modern application architecture skills and designing solutions in and migrations to cloud-native environment including containers, Azure services, microservices, Kubernetes etc. Experience with Agile development practices Strong hands-on C#/.Net/.Net core software development background in an enterprise environment Previous experience creating proof of concepts from scratch based on requirements/application infrastructure to propose, create, and implement solutions Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving ability and strong Application performance insights/skills Experience in working/leading onsite/offsite team, and some task planning activities. Experience and practical use of Agile/Scrum practices and tools. Use of ADO Strong API experience (defining API specifications, creating APIs, and integrating APIs into 3rd party applications) Strong background in SQL Server environment Good dev experience and understanding of front-end technology and development like Angular Misc skills required: Entity-Framework, Dapper, performance optimization, strong troubleshooting skills, heavy Windows / Microsoft / Azure Cloud environment, Cloud networking concepts/troubleshooting Pluses Background in Technical Design/Lead/Software Architect work Previous Oil and Gas industry experience Trust is Contagious!!
