| Title: SQL DBA Location: Nyc NY (Onsite) VISA: No Sponsorship Duration: 6 months/contract Must have recent Banking client exp and Fixed Income capital markets exp Description: We are seeking an experienced individual who has solid experience maintaining, configuring and debugging a complex area of Microsoft SQL Server. This person will know that industry best practice on establishing what a financial firm should be doing to maintain robust, resilient SQL Server structure with complex stored procedures, triggers, clustering and MQ Environment Key Responsibilities: Be the owner the Microsoft SQL Server environment. This would span 10+ servers across cloud and on-prem resources. Provide guidance and structure for best practices for releases and change management. Develop and implement best practices for user access, accountability, and Privileged Access Management Required Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years of experience as a DBA with 5+ years working with MS SQL Server. Assist in migrations from older version to newer SQL, triggers, and connections to MSSQL Be able to assist in complex server setups and inter-server communications. Experience in process automation and documentation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
