Role: Senior Cloud Engineer Serves as a lead for the Platform team and provides direction on the operations and deployment of the code. With your team, create and implement visionary infrastructure and data solutions that are stable, flexible, and performant. Provide hands-on operations and maintenance support of AWS-cloud based infrastructure and services such as Lambda, ECS hosted micro front ends, API Gateway etc. Create/design/develop/manage DevOps CI/CD pipelines using code management tools such as GitHub and DevOps tools such as Jenkins shared libraries, Docker, and open-source tools. Provide the necessary support to establish and improve DevOps processes such as Infrastructure as Code, contribute to common shared libraries, test automation frameworks, performance testing framework and code and data security. Leverage Python as a general-purpose programming language for data analytics in the AWS cloud environments. Design and implement data and system integrations for consuming and sharing data across the OIG enterprise as well as with external agencies. Implements practical security improvements and compliance activity in support of the product and program. Work as a liaison between product teams, infrastructure teams at OIG on infrastructure related discussions and troubleshooting. Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for DevOps initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights, consulting, and mentoring.
