Program Manager Comerica is looking for a seasoned Program Manager to help us with an enterprise wide project to simplify processes throughout the organization. Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiation and reconcilement of vendor invoices and hold vendor accountable to cost/schedule/quality deliverables. Effectively manage vendor code release management. Interact with executive leadership (Vice Chairman, CIO, CTO, SVP and EVP) on a regular basis for program status communication, financial updates, and project sponsor mentoring of their roles/responsibilities. Resource Planning Select contractor resources for projects and lead contractor project management staff. Mentor project team members and provide a role model for individual development. Identify areas of development in project team members and communicate performance improvements and coach towards improvement. Mentor and encourage skill development of project team members. Provide performance review feedback and development recommendations for project team members to their managers. Manage and lead transformation and diversity initiatives. Financial Management Manage to the financial budget and schedule established for the program. Employ expert financial acumen with proper financial forecasting and create financial reports for executive leadership communication. Review and approve the program budget updates and maintenance. Business Project Manager Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Provides business and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Complete management of all aspects of the project management methodology especially Scope, Time, and Cost triple constraint. Position Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution Manages large projects of high complexity. Responsible for on-time delivery and execution of critical Technology projects and initiatives to deliver business value. Works with core project team (such as business partners, vendors, and technical team) to develop detailed, actionable project schedules. Assigns tasks to team and develops detailed and accurate work schedules, project estimates, and resource plans. Executes, monitors, and controls projects from original concept through final Delivery. Communicates accurate and timely project accomplishments and overall project health to stakeholders via required measures and methods (such as status reports, metrics, checkpoints, portfolio reports, and scorecards). Manages and monitors project budgets as required based on project needs. Ensures cost changes have accurate and timely approvals and follow corporate and department standards, policies, and procedures. Reviews project deliverables. Manages vendor team(s) as applicable and required, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Ensures support areas are engaged to drive effective training and turnover of project deliverables. Risk Management Ensures adherence to all government, corporate and department standards, policies and procedures in all project deliverables, artifacts, tasks, and decisions across the team. Works to ensure all artifacts adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures. Proactively manages project risks and risk mitigation plans.
