Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Titusville, NJ(Hybrid & looking for locals) Duration: Contract Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services(IICS) and AWS are Must We are seeking a skilled senior Data Engineer Developer with extensive experience in ETL/ELT , AWS services and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining data engineering solutions to support our business intelligence and data management initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using standard ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud to meet business requirements. Experience in Data engineering and data analysis with hands on experience with Relational DB including Redshift, RDS etc. Strong experience building automated end to end data pipelines using IICS (Informatica Cloud), processing data from varied sources, into AWS/Anaplan. Hands-on experience on data transformation in IICS/AWS Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure proper integration with data warehouses. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from various data sources, ensuring data quality and integrity. Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability, troubleshooting issues as they arise. Develop and maintain technical documentation for all ETL processes, workflows, and data mappings. Experience in programming such as Python, Spark and automation tools such as Jenkins etc.. Design and implement data warehouse schemas (star/snowflake models) and optimize performance for large-scale data processing. Leverage ETL tools, python frameworks for integrating cloud-based data sources with on-premises systems and other cloud applications. Support data warehousing initiatives by designing and implementing data models, schemas, and structures that support analytical and reporting needs. Monitor and maintain ETL jobs, addressing any issues to ensure the continuous flow of data. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of developed solutions. Work closely with the IT team to ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies. Diagnose and resolve ETL and data integration issues in a timely manner, providing support to data teams and end-users. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for ETL processes, data models, and integration workflows. Process automation with scheduling using Control-M, to align with source system jobs. Expertise in performing automated data validation including source to target validation and right level of notification for intervention. Experience in Managing AWS administration of resources for services including S3, Redshift, RDS, EC2, EKS etc. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data warehousing, ETL, and data integration. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in ETL development using ETL tools and programming in python and its libraries. Implement data quality rules and processes within Informatica to ensure high-quality, accurate, and consistent data across systems Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is an advantage. Strong experience with data warehousing concepts, design, and development. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., Redshift, Teradata. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL). Experience with cloud-based data integration platforms such as AWS. Familiarity with data modelling tools and techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
