| Hello Hope you are doing well Location : Philadelphia Only Locals Job Description: We are seeking a skilled QA Tester to join our Portfolio Management Engineering (PME) team on a one-year contract. The ideal candidate will be onshore, working on a Time & Materials (T&M) basis, and will be required to work onsite at our Oaks office three days a week. Key Responsibilities: Perform quality assurance testing for portfolio management applications. Test both backend services and user interfaces (UI). Utilize basic SQL knowledge for testing purposes (complex queries not required). Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Report and track defects, and work with the team to resolve issues. Optionally, leverage automation tools such as Taiko and Fitnesse to enhance testing efficiency. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, specifically with portfolio management applications. Strong understanding of portfolio management processes and applications. Proven experience in testing backend services and front-end UIs. Basic SQL knowledge for testing purposes. Experience with automation tools like Taiko and Fitnesse is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
