Please find the below Job description and send the suitable resume to [email protected] Job Title: Technical Specialist - Expert (HB, PB, Claims Analyst) Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Experience: 12+ Years Experience and Qualifications: Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively present information to clinical and business leaders within the organization. 8+ years of experience with Epic modules including Professional Billing (PB), Hospital Billing (HB), and Claims. Ability to work in small teams and under tight project deadlines. Experience working closely with business and revenue cycle leaders to translate business needs into Epic billing functionality. Must possess certification in Epic Resolute PB, HB, and Claims. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the healthcare revenue cycle, with a demonstrated ability in Epic system build. Self-starter with excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills. Experience with vendors like Experian, Relay Health, and Hyland OnBase. In-depth knowledge of hospital billing, professional billing, claims processing operations, and workflows. Proficiency in areas such as Rapid Retest, payer/plan creation, PLBs, Charge Router, Contracts, and more. Responsibilities: Analyze, document, and communicate business requirements for new system functionality and enhancements, ensuring they align with business needs. Perform system testing to ensure changes meet business requirements and do not negatively impact other areas of the Epic system. Serve as the primary support contact for application end-users and troubleshoot issues. Guide the design and build of workflows, perform system testing, and address technical issues related to Epic software. Identify, communicate, and implement changes to the Epic system while conducting integrated testing to ensure no adverse effects on other system areas. Work closely with Epic representatives and end users to ensure the system meets organizational needs, project deliverables, and timelines. Conduct detailed analysis of current and future workflows, data collection, report generation, and technical issues associated with Epic EHR and third-party applications. Partner with quality, operational, and business leaders to optimize system design for quality, safety, financial, and operational efficiency. Gather requirements for system enhancements or new implementations, develop specifications, prioritize, and implement changes. Investigate process standardization and improvement opportunities within revenue cycle areas and make informed build decisions. Ensure data integrity and accuracy, aligning with business requirements. Complete integrated testing across all Epic environments to validate system changes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues of varying complexity for assigned applications. Develop system documentation, maintain data integrity, and ensure security compliance for assigned applications. Create and deliver communication and educational materials related to deployments, upgrades, optimizations, and other system changes. Stay up to date with Epic application releases, participating in planning and testing for upgrades. Engage in performance improvement initiatives to measure, assess, and improve the quality of work in assigned areas. Essential Requirements: Must pass a general background check. Must hold Epic module certification as assigned. Epic HB/PB Claims Certification is required. Required/Desired Skills: (3+ years) Ability to present effectively to clinical and business leaders. 8+ years) Expertise in these Epic modules. (3+ years) Ability to manage tight deadlines in small teams. (3+ years) Experience translating business needs into Epic billing functionality. Must hold certification in Epic Resolute PB, HB, and Claims. (5+ years) Demonstrated experience in progressive healthcare revenue cycle and Epic build.
