New must haves: Logistics (shipping, carriers, trucks, delivery etc, similar ) Python SQL start up -nice to have, not a must Need logistics experience related to shipping carriers, truck & carrier, small package delivery, freight delivery working with companies like FedEx, UPS, DHL, , Shiply, XPO Logistics, Flexport, ShipAccel, etc. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of new features within our Density API. Day-to-day tasks will include designing and implementing software systems, debugging and testing code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Experience working in the logistics space related to shipping carriers, truck & carrier, small package delivery, freight delivery. A curious problem-solver, someone excited to approach problems in a creative way 5+ years total development experience Python focused o Demonstrated experience deploying quality code o Appreciation of Python coding best practices and agile development methodology Proficiency with SQL Comfort testing your own code, and that of your team Understanding of startup environment, comfortable working in small and scrappy team in an environment where you wear multiple hats (product, design, QA) Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or AWS Experience working with a small startup, under 50 people Empathy for early stage start up Understanding of transactional and analytical databases Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment Ability to design and develop solutions that are resilient to failures and unlock observability Deployed code in a cloud environment Experience with ReST APIs Familiarity with AWS Lambda or Google Cloud Run / App Engine.
