NO RELOCATION ALLOWED. Resource will be working on a Hybrid schedule. However, position status is subject to change.. Note- Please ask for 3 previous employment references. Description: Our client is looking for an EHR-EMR Business Analyst. This role will implement, maintain and configure projects. Oracle Cerner offers the EHR-EMR platform as a vendor solution for the client's many health services. The EHR-EMR core team is composed of various client department employees, medical staff from other program divisions, and EHR-EMR private vendors. Tasks Help identify opportunities for optimizing business processes within EHR-EMR workflows. Perform the necessary build and testing for successful EHR-EMR optimizations, reporting through Discern analytics and SAP Business Objects (BO), and upgrades in Provider, Nursing, and Pharmacy workflow, Dentrix, and Dragon Medical One, and more. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Ability to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to work with business teams and good communication and presentation skills. Skills Required 5+ years - Experience maintaining and vendor-managed software, performing maintenance, testing, upgrades, and configurations. 5+ years - Experience communicating software configuration with external and internal stakeholders. 5+ years - Experience working with external stakeholders to identify process improvements and optimizations. 5+ years - Experience engaging with users to troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues. 5+ years - Knowledge of EHR / EMR Systems. 5+ years - Knowledge of implementing and integration new analytics and reporting platform for healthcare. 5+ years - Knowledge of Business Objects Reporting Solution Experience with test script maintenance and test automation. Experience in change management systems. Knowledge of vendor-based application release cycle and ticket management. Good business process mapping and process capture through Visio flow diagrams experience. Experience / ability to identify integration points. Knowledge of reporting and dashboard maintenance. Experience in process improvements and IT systems integration. Skills Desired Experience with SQL, PL SQL and CCL code writing. Experience in Agile environment and System Development Life Cycle. Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), running regression tests on systems, and identifying, designing, and optimizing new and existing test cases. Good understanding of Scheduling and Registration, HIM, Provider, Pharmacy, lab and Nursing Workflows. Experience with the ability to understand and document business requirements for reporting in a HIPAA regulated environment. JIRA tool experience. Working in a government or correctional environment. Knowledge of good reporting practices based on HIPAA and state rules. Experience / existing knowledge of Discern Reporting Portal (Static and Interactive Reporting) Good understanding of Scheduling and Registration, HIM, Provider, Pharmacy, lab and Nursing Workflows.
