These tools are very specific and that may be difficult but other scheduler tools/MFT. These are very specific tools and while preferred, automation and more specifically job scheduling/MFT administration would be desired. MUST HAVE SKILLSETS Heavy Linux Administration experience - Minimum 5 years OS Upgrades Patching Batch Automation Automate Schedular or Skybot/Goanywhere or some sort of enterprise scheduling tool expereience Bachelors Degree About the job Overview: The Linux Administrator is responsible for leading application administration, including but not limited to managing application availability, automation, system installs, patches, configuration, development, upgrades and security. Leads overall application architecture design and implementation to ensure Linux based applications properly support the companys needs. 2+ years experience with Automate Schedule/Goanywhere MFT or other enterprise scheduler and MFT tools Required Responsibilities: Install, configure, deploy, automate, monitor, and optimize the performance of applications on Linux platforms. Performance tune applications according to best practices. Develop mechanisms and automation for deploying configuration changes across the various environments. Assist Network and Server teams with necessary logs when needed for troubleshooting issues. Qualifications: Requirements: 5+ years of Application Administration availability, installation, configuration, upgrading of software (client/server) components in enterprise network environments. In-depth technical understanding of system infrastructure equipment such as servers and storage systems, software including server operating systems, server virtualization platforms, monitoring and disaster recovery tools. Hands on Linux administration, experience with managing enterprise Linux servers. Hands on experience with Tomcat installation & administration, Apache webservers, load balancers, DNS setup and configuration and automation of these activities. AWS cloud certification is preferred with strong knowledge in EC2, SC, Autoscaling, CloudFormation, and Chef or other automation tools.
