Automation Tester As an automation test engineer on our team, youll work with other automation testers, developers, engineers, and stakeholders as part of a team evaluating software developed for The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In this role, you will contribute to building test scenarios and test cases based on user stories. Utilizing the Selenium ATI framework and Cucumber, along with manual testing, you'll generate data, execute tests, and document the results. You'll communicate defects to the development team to facilitate application improvements. Additionally, you'll automate functional and regression tests, monitoring the health of VA software products, providing an excellent opportunity to refine your skills by writing the code to test VA applications. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia. Additionally, the candidate must be proficient with Java and Selenium Web Driver and Framework. Experience with Eclipse, Jenkins, and Maven commands is preferred. Technical Skills: 3+ years of experience with Java (Proficiency in Java: Strong knowledge of Java programming, including object-oriented principles.) 2+ years of experience with Selenium WebDriver and Framework. (Selenium WebDriver: Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for automating web applications.) 2-5 yrs in Testing Automation Role 2+ years of experience with TML 2+ years of experience with CSS 1+ years of experience with ATI Framework and data driven testing experience 1+ years of experience Maven/Jenkins Experience with CI/CD processes and tools TestNG Framework: Familiarity with TestNG for test management, including annotations, test configuration, and reporting. Cucumber: Experience with Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD), including writing feature files and step definitions. Automation Tools: Knowledge of additional automation tools (e.g., Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins) for build and integration. Testing Skills Test Automation: Proven experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts.
