| Hi, Hope you are doing well, We are looking for Mainframe Architect at New York-2, NY~ Jersey City, NJ~ Merrill Lynch, NJ~ Jersey City BMC, NJ// Onsitee. Please confirm if you are interested. Note This is completely onsite position from Day One Profiles are considerable for only Impaneled organizations. No OPT/CPT, H4EAD, L2EAD Position - Mainframe Architect Location New York-2, NY~ Jersey City, NJ~ Merrill Lynch, NJ~ Jersey City BMC, NJ// Onsite Exp. + yrs Contract Ro les & Responsibilities 1. Strong Development in mainframe technologies like COBOL, REXX, DB2, CICS, IMS DB/DC, MQ, JCL. PROC, SORT, EZITRIEVE. Knowing Assembler will be plus. 2. Knowledge of modern mainframe IDE like IDz (IBM Developer for z) or similar tools. 3. Deep knowledge of version control tool like Endevor and their setting related compilation and link edit. 4. Knowledge of Mainframe Infrastructure logical partitions, Data Replication, Charge back, different types of mainframe processors (Common processor, zIIP, zlinux etc) . 5. Working knowledge of Mainframe security (RACF, ACF2 or Top Secret) and USS (Unix System Services). 6. Experience to do performance analysis using tools like IBM Performance Analyzer or similar tools. 7. Experience to do dump analysis using tools like IBM Fault Analyzer or similar tools. 8. Familiarity with tools like IBM File Manager and IBM debugger or similar tools from other vendors. 9. Familiarity with protocols to interface outside of mainframe Some examples are NDM, SFTP, MQ, CICS Transaction gateway, z/os connect etc. 10. Knowledge of batch schedulers like ESP or Control M. 11. Agile Development. 12. Managing Disaster recovery test and Business Continuity scenarios. 13. Impact analysis owing to SW version upgrade and identification of fix. 14. Knowledge of IBMs DBB (Dependency Based Build) is a plus.
