| Position : Machine Learning Engineer || Remote Location: Local to Chicago is preferable but open to 100% remote Duration: TBD; workday begins at 6AM CST (works closely with a team in the UK) Max W2 Pay Rate: $60/hr W2 (candidates MUST be on our W2) Submittal must include MM/DD and last 4 of SSN ***** Share only DL with Local to Chicago ***** Description: Looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer - NOT looking for a Data Scientist from a purely academic background. TOP 3 must-have skills: Demonstrated experience taking Machine Learning/Depp Learning projects to production Demonstrated experience with Language/Large-Language Models Software Engineering background with Cloud Technologies Experience: 3-5years Education: Masters(preferred)/Bachelors in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, In formation Technology or related Core Skills: Python along with popular and widely used Python libraries SQL ML models like XGBoost, Random forest, KNN, Time series forecasting, regression, classification Neural Network Architectures, Transformers, ANN, BERT, GPT models, Open Source foundational models(e.g; LLama2/3, Hugging Face). mlFlow Cloud(Azure is valued over AWS/GCP) based ML managed services(e.g; Azure OpenAI, Azure ML). Vector databases, LM/LLM/GEN-AI based tools, libraries and frameworks(e.g; LangChain, Semantic Kernel). Performance evaluation of ML/DL/LLM systems, drift handling, evaluation frameworks, explainability frameworks End to end ML project lifecycle workflows, experience working with MLOps/LLMOps best practices Experience with PySpark/Databricks is valued, not mandatory. Non Technical skills: Great Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills. Self motivated. Experience of taking ML and/or LLM based systems or DL/Neural Network based systems or mixture of experts based systems to production, is highly valued.
