Visa:- Location:- Job Description Job Title: SQL Server Data Collection Engineer or Industrial IoT Engineer Location: Plano, TX Duration: 6 Months Visa: USC and GC MOI: Skype This job really needs someone with experience using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform to gather data and create dashboards using Ignition. Ideally, this job also need someone that has previous experience with Rockwell's Transaction Manager and Factory Talk View (formerly RSView) platform and who has migrated from one to the other. Searching on these skills and seeing which roles they are filling instead of searching for a job title might yield the best pool of candidates. Or, if no time should be used to search, just send that information to the subs and let them look for the right candidates. Requirement Description Of Services: SQL Server Industrial Data Collection Rockwell Transaction Manager Key responsibilities: - Understand existing industrial equipment data collection system - Design new system using modern architecture patterns and technologies - Implement new solution using new tools and technologies Functional Skills: - Industrial Equipment Data Collection - Equipment Performance Management concepts Technical Skills: - SQL Server - Rockwell Transaction Manager, RSView - Experience with PLCs for data collection - Ideal candidate also has knowledge on: Ignition, MQTT, Timeseries databases or industrial process historians 1. Install and configuration of Ignition (gateway and Core) 2. Identify the required Drivers (Allen Bradley & Custom Drivers to start with ) and ingest data from those PLCs 3. Work with IIoT Networking team relating to firewalls 4. Create Dashboards in Ignition Perspective - There may be discovery involved to understand current Factory Talk View systems and replicate the functionality in Ignition Perspective 5. C#/.Net knowledge to understand current equipment data collection system built using Rockwell product suite and replicate the functionality in Ignition 6. Exposing data from ignition as MQTT or other formats and work with integration partners (EMQX) 7.
