Position Mechanical Designer Location - Burbank, CA, USA Duration: 6+ Months Job Responsibilities: BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering 7+ years in aerospace industry Experience in other industries with development and manufacture of complex hydraulics and electro-mechanical components can be considered in lieu of aerospace. Experience in designing of major aircraft actuation and distribution components and/or systems, such as hydraulic valves, actuators and electromechanical devices Thorough knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 standards, Tolerance analysis, and Computer Aided 3D Design. Fundamental engineering analyses, including but not limited to mechanical design for hydraulic components, systems, and pressure vessels. Knowledge of analytical tools such as SolidWorks and its analysis suite is preferred.
