Responsibilities: Oversee the overall development and product management of the Salesforce Provider Portal, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs. Compile and analyze requirements for the Salesforce application to enable diverse business functions and enhance operational efficiency. Identify and manage risks and issues related to design choices, ensuring that the application meets the necessary standards for functionality and security. Support the definition of user roles and profiles, security settings, access configurations (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules), and overall application security. Identify opportunities for application optimization, integration, redesign, or development to enhance the user experience and functionality of the Salesforce environment. Exhibit the ability to design applications that support business processes and reporting requirements effectively. Identify production risks and areas for improvement, implementing updates and developing custom validations or code based on business requirements. Provide support for configuration updates within the Salesforce environment, ensuring the platform is maintained to meet evolving needs. Assist in the planning and execution of additional initiatives related to pandemic efforts, including staff bonuses and salary support for childcare providers affected by COVID-19. Explore options to increase the usability of the existing Subsidized Child Care Provider Portal and support similar needs within the Child Welfare area in NC FAST, developing applications for new or extended functionality. Qualifications: Proven Experience in Salesforce application development and management, particularly within the Lightning Platform. Strong understanding of Salesforce development environments, including deployment options and change management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into effective technical solutions. Experience with user role definitions, security settings, and application optimization strategies. Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Familiarity with childcare services and related governmental programs is a plus.
