Developing ABAP solutions as per the design document requirements (workflow and PI for interfaces) Work closely with SAP functional (SD, MM, PP, FICO ) personnel to implement and deploy changes to SAP and other integrated or interfaced systems Participate in complex code reviews and provide feedback Demonstrate technical expertise in end-to-end configuration of sales and supply chain processes in SAP (or S/4 HANA) SD, MM and PP modules At least 5 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development in SD and FICO modules Interacting with the Architects, Analysts, and other IT delivery teams to understand the functional requirements Developing and implementing changes/enhancements using ABAP technology for BAU and small change aligned to SAP standard Develop and implement ABAP programs and enhancements to support FICO and SD functionalities. Providing technical input to projects delivering SAP changes to support initial project planning and estimation process Manage the construction of code based on a technical design, following development standards Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and design effective solutions Document integration processes and maintain technical specifications. Work with functional and other teams to understand business requirements and translate into technical specifications and solutions in accordance with client standards and architecture Design, code and correct large and/or complex programs and program modifications as custom development, or within an existing application Qualifications: At least 6+ years of hands-on experience in ABAP development in SD and FICO modules Full project life cycle SAP implementation including blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and post implementation support Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time, , being a collaborative team member Knowledge of procedure and tools for communication with SAP via OSS Demonstrated experience in integrating external systems into SAP, ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment Proficient in using Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs) and Intermediate Document (IDOC) messages for efficient data exchange between SAP and external systems Experience in implementing and consuming SOAP web services to facilitate communication between SAP and other applications Skilled in using SAP RFC to facilitate communication between SAP systems and external applications, enhancing interoperability Familiarity with connecting OPC (OLE for Process Control) systems using RFC to enable real-time data access and integration.
