Top Skills & Required Experience: 5+ years of experience using Force.com platforms out-of-the-box functionalities and customizing applications using Apex coding or configurations. 4+ years of programming experience with Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Apex, HTML5, and JavaScript within the Salesforce platform. 5+ years of experience with Service Cloud or Gov Cloud. 3+ years of experience with Apex API integration. Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or other DevOps tools. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer Certification preferred. Position Overview: The Programmer Analyst 4 will be responsible for the development, design, and implementation of customizable solutions within Salesforce, focusing on the State of Michigans CRM needs. This role involves collaborating with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements, integrating systems, and ensuring solutions align with long-term strategic goals. Responsibilities include: Defining technical requirements for new projects and enhancements. Taking ownership of release cycles and deploying updates. Ensuring compliance with SOM security guidelines. Collaborating with other system developers to ensure business-wide integration. Compiling internal development standards for the team. Supporting and maintaining all Salesforce systems, including data migration and API integrations. Hands-on development with Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and other core Salesforce technologies. Implementing various authentication protocols and securing high-performance technical solutions. Additional Requirements: Strong experience with Salesforce Administration and Sales Cloud or Service Cloud (Gov Plus Cloud experience is a plus). Experience with CRM workflows and custom solutions. Knowledge of Salesforce data mapping, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce Object DML operations. Experience with Azure DevOps, SFDX development, and CI/CD processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to design technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms, including integration and authentication across systems.
