| HI Partners, Role: Power BI/SQL Developers Location: Richmond, VA Start date: 11/12/2024 End Date: 06/30/2025 Visa Independent Consultants only Interview Type: Both Webcam and In Person Interview ***Please submit Local to Virginia or nearby Candidates.*** Complete Description : ABOUT THE ROLE seeking up to senior level Power BI/SQL Developers with strong problem solving, organizational, and communication skills. This role will be expected to collaborate with the Data Office, Business, IT, and other stakeholders and play an active role in the Data Quality Enhancement initiative. The individual is expected to be a self-starter who is comfortable prioritizing and effectively managing their daily workload. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server SQL development, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Experience in writing complex DAX queries. Experience with MS SQL Server data modelling and schema design. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team that includes business and technical stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Desired Skills: Experience in Pensions Benefit Management programs. Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView). Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS). Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent. Other relevant certifications in SQL, Data Analysis, and database management.
