As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for ensuring that agile principles and practices are effectively followed by the team and driving the successful delivery of projects in an onsite capacity. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and product owners to ensure smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate daily Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) to ensure the team's adherence to Agile principles. Coach and mentor teams on Agile methodologies, helping to identify opportunities for process improvements. Remove obstacles and impediments that may affect the team's productivity and success. Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to define project goals, prioritize tasks, and manage the backlog. Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products while meeting deadlines and maintaining project scope. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation within the team. Track and report key metrics such as team velocity, burndown charts, and project status. Provide leadership and guidance on Agile practices within the BFSI environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Work closely with development teams, QA, and other functional units to deliver incremental releases. Manage communication and stakeholder expectations to ensure project alignment with business goals. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong focus on the BFSI domain. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification is required. In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban. Proven experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance industry, with a solid understanding of industry-specific challenges and regulatory requirements. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in an onsite team environment in San Antonio, TX. Experience with Agile project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex organizational challenges. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Hands-on experience working in a highly regulated BFSI environment.
