This role collaborates with a wide range of people to identify and define customer needs, understand the Solution Context, and develops the Program Vision, Roadmap, and Features required to meet these needs including assurance that business needs cascade down to the team level. A PM is responsible for the feature product backlog and serves as the ultimate product authority approving PI/TI and Iteration objectives. This team support applications that compliment their main workforce management system (Kronos). Those applications are WorkJam, ThinkTime, and Reflexes. This Product Manager will be supporting a scrum team that supports all of these applications but primarily WorkJam. The big thing she is looking for is a strong Product Manager with Retail industry experience that has experience knowing when and how to integrate multiple systems together. General Description: Owner of creating, managing & prioritizing product features, using a backlog, including experience in serving as the ultimate authority; agrees upon DoD & supports the flow of work at the Program layer Generates business value work with the Portfolio layer including experience in working with the PO to assure that the work cascades down to the team level including driving and approving PI/TI Iteration/Sprint objectives Key owner & driver of strategic themes & roadmap for the Product lifecycle including ability to guide the product through the lifecycle states including creating & management of rolling wave plans Responsible for ensuring that Value Streams are creating feasible and sustainable products & solutions Owns outlining & prioritizing enabler work including ensuring work is understood & execution coincides with business value work If part of an ART, is an active participant & skilled in ART ceremonies and associated responsibilities Key participant in supporting and reviewing system demos to ensure demonstrated delivered work aligns with targeted business value deliverables & scope Ensures Program risks are identified and handled Identifies, tracks & handles appropriate feature metrics including tracking feature progress & areas for improvement Responsible in identifying customers and stakeholders including advanced skills with client/stakeholder management both internal & external.
