This role will involve close collaboration with internal teams to optimize network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and integrate GCP services into the existing network architecture. Key Responsibilities : Network Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and implement network solutions (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) that support the expansion and reliability . Cloud Integration: Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to enhance and optimize network infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking solutions. Network Performance Monitoring: Use monitoring tools to ensure optimal network performance, reliability, and uptime. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, both in cloud and on-premises environments. Automation: Implement network automation using tools and scripting languages (Python, Terraform, etc.) to improve operational efficiency. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, architectures, and cloud integrations for future reference and troubleshooting. Required Qualifications : Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in network engineering, preferably in a service provider environment. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including networking components such as VPCs, load balancers, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN, and hybrid cloud environments. Strong understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and technologies (IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, SDN). Experience with network automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar. Proficient with network monitoring tools and platforms (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG). Scripting experience in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Familiarity with firewall and security appliances from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet. Experience with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, traceroute, and ping.
