Experience working with managed service providers. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Certifications in relevant technologies are a plus. Responsibilities: We are looking for a highly experienced Senior z/OS Transaction and Network System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deploying, maintaining, and optimizing IMS/TM, CICS, CICS TG, MQ Messaging, TCP/IP, and z/OS network systems. Experience working with a managed service provider is essential. Key Responsibilities: Deploy, maintain, and optimize IMS/TM, CICS, CICS TG, MQ Messaging, TCP/IP, and z/OS network systems. Monitor and troubleshoot transaction and network systems to ensure high availability and performance. Collaborate with managed service providers to ensure seamless integration and support of z/OS systems. Develop and implement system enhancements and optimizations to improve efficiency and reliability. Perform system upgrades and apply patches to maintain system security and compliance. Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field--preferred but not required. Okay with experience over degrees. Preferred Skills: Experience with automation tools and scripting languages. Knowledge of security best practices for z/OS systems. Familiarity with cloud integration and hybrid environments.
