| Business Analyst The State of Louisiana has a large project for over 20 resources. It's a long-term project, 4.5 years. The work is primarily remote, but they did indicate that the candidates must be available for onsite work in Baton Rouge, LA 70802. The candidate does need a contact person (or reference) for all positions listed on their resume. Specifically, they want this - Customer references (name, title, company name, address, telephone number, and email address) should be provided for each project cited in the resume. This reference/contact information will need to be on the resume before you submit due to the large volume of candidates and the quick turnaround. Duration: November 2024 till June 30, 2029 Work Location: Primary work location is remote, but the candidates must be available as needed for onsite work in Baton Rouge, LA on a regular basis. USC/GC only Business Analyst Job duties will include but are not limited to the following: Define and document business functions and processes Analyze the integration of business functions with technology Maintain a working knowledge of accounting, procurement, finance or contract management Assist with business case development and business process reengineering Consult with management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements Recommend new processes that yield operational efficiencies Conduct cost-benefit analysis Develop or assist with project work plans, project timelines Develop or assist with ITBs, RFIs, RFRs, RFPs and contracts. The Business Analyst should be familiar with state procurement laws and procedures, and have experience in developing technical specifications and negotiating with vendors to acquire IT assets.
