| Oorwin Email Hello Position: Sr Power BI Developer Location: Dallas, TX (3 - 4 days onsite per week) Duration: Long Term Contract Experience: 12+ Years Note: Prior experience in SSRS to Power BI Report Builder migration is required as a mandate Here is what I am looking for: 8 or more years of Power BI experience. Must have an in-depth knowledge of PowerBI including Power Query and DAX. 5 or more years of SSRS experience. At least one year of Power BI Paginated Reports Builder experience. Must have experience converting SSRS reports to Power BI Paginated Report Builder SQL expertise is required. On a scale of 1 to 10, the candidate must possess SQL proficiency over 7 Years Candidate would have strong experience with Databricks and knowledge of Python and PySpark Summary Looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in data processing and analysis, programming, and a deep understanding of the Azure ecosystem. If you are passionate about turning data into actionable insights and have a knack for optimizing data systems, read on for the qualifications and responsibilities. Qualifications Extensive experience in developing interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI. Strong ability to translate large complex data sets into intuitive visualizations & offer out-of-box solutions (advance dashboarding) to the present environment. Skilled in identifying trends and insights through data visualization tools. Proficient in writing SQL queries (DQL, DML, DDL) for data retrieval, manipulation, and definition. Experience with SQL Server is highly desirable. Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Azure services related to data processing and storage. Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Bicep is advantageous. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or C# is beneficial. Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams. Having concepts of Microsoft Fabric will be added advantage. Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certification Microsoft Power BI Data Analytics (PL 300) certified.
