The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure a smooth and successful transition, managing both the technical and business aspects of the migration. This role requires strong expertise in SharePoint Online, migration best practices, and project management. The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, fluently, and confidently across all levels of the organization. They will need to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for non-technical stakeholders, while also being able to articulate business needs to offshore technical teams. The candidate must be adept at navigating conversations with senior leadership, department heads, Jive space owners, and frontline users, ensuring there are no language barriers or communication gaps so that all stakeholders feel heard, informed, and engaged throughout the migration process. Strong active listening skills and the ability to foster collaboration and alignment between diverse teams are essential for success in this role. The successful candidate will work closely with the offshore SharePoint developers requested from client for this project to facilitate the migration of content and creation of site templates, recreation of workflows and features, and be responsible for daily scrums, etc. Working hours - 8 hours. Responsibilities: Lead the Migration Project: Oversee the full migration of the company intranet from Jive to SharePoint, from planning through execution and post-migration support. Prior Handson experience on SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, C#, REST API, PowerShell, HTML/CSS, SharePoint Designer, Office 365 Integration and SQL Server Stakeholder Management: Work with key business units and IT to gather requirements, ensure alignment, and manage expectations throughout the migration process. Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the current Jive environment, gather detailed migration requirements, and translate them into SharePoint solutions. Solution Design: Define the structure, content management, and governance of the new SharePoint intranet, ensuring it meets organizational needs. Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets. Identify risks and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies. Vendor Collaboration: Liaise with external vendors, including offshore SharePoint developers, to ensure the technical accuracy and success of the migration. User Training & Adoption: Create and execute a training plan to ensure end-user adoption, providing support and materials as needed to ease the transition to SharePoint. Post-Migration Support: Provide ongoing support post-migration to resolve any issues, optimize the SharePoint environment, and refine content structures. Governance & Best Practices: Establish best practices for SharePoint usage, including security, permissions, and content management policies. Primary Skills: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of experience in managing SharePoint projects, preferably in product management or project leadership roles. Proven experience with SharePoint Online administration, configuration, and content migration. Familiarity with the Jive platform and migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix) is highly desirable. Strong project management skills with experience managing large-scale intranet or collaboration tool migrations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies. Experience with user adoption and training programs to ensure effective platform usage. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to migration. Secondary Skills: Microsoft SharePoint Certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform + Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert). Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem integrations. Experience in managing content governance and compliance policies in SharePoint. Certification Required: Microsoft SharePoint Certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform + Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert).
