Position AEM Developer with WordPress Experience Location Remote Job Type Contract to hire Job Description We are seeking a skilled Ful Stack Developer with experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and WordPress to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both front-end and back-end development, and a deep understanding of website management and content creation workflows using AEM and WordPress. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining websites and web applications, focusing on improving performance, usability, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Adobe AEM and WordPress. Front-End Development: Implement responsive designs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , Modern Javascript Libraries like React Back-End Development: Build and maintain server-side logic, database integrations, and AEM component development using Java, PHP, MySQL, and other technologies. Integrate APIs and other third-party services to enhance web functionality. Work closely with designers, content creators, and project managers to implement and deploy content and features seamlessly. Optimize websites for speed, performance, and scalability, ensuring they meet best practices for SEO and web accessibility. Troubleshoot and debug issues across all devices and browsers. Collaborate on Agile teams, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes. Maintain version control using Git or other version control systems. Ensure security compliance by applying best practices for secure coding and data protection. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in front-end and back-end development roles. Proficiency with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including component and template development. Strong WordPress experience, including theme and plugin development. Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React. Back-end experience with Java, PHP, MySQL, and AEM back-end services. Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and web standards. Experience working in Agile development environments and Tools (ASANA, JIRA) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience with additional CMS platforms such as Contentful, Drupal or Shopify. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, WP Engine) and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with headless CMS architecture and microservices. Familiarity with SEO best practices and Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Tealium integration.
