Contract Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with expertise in managing and optimizing complex systems in a production environment. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge across a range of technologies, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to automating and improving operational processes. Responsibilities: Utilize deep SRE skills to design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable systems. Write code proficiently in Java and Golang to develop tools and automation for operational tasks. Develop and maintain scripts in Bash and Python for automation and monitoring purposes. Hands-on experience and strong knowledge of: Openshift Gitlab ArgoCD Elasticsearch AWS S3 MongoDB Kafka Oracle Lead efforts in debugging production issues, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and documenting findings. Mentor and guide the SRE team members, providing technical leadership and solutions. Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and performance. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents promptly. Implement and advocate for best practices in continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure as code. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a Senior SRE or similar role in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in Java and Golang programming languages. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the mentioned technologies (Openshift, Gitlab, ArgoCD, Elasticsearch, AWS S3, MongoDB, Kafka, Oracle). Ability to troubleshoot complex issues spanning multiple systems and services. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus. Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes) is desirable.
