Hi, Job Title: SQL Data Analyst Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid) Client: DXC Technology Need Locals to TX Only Technical Requirements: Write SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures for data extraction. Prepare and analyze data, executing requests for data pulls from various databases using SQL. Develop complex reports utilizing SQL, Microsoft Office, and other tools as needed. Conduct both ad hoc and structured data analysis. Proactively identify and flag data issues to stakeholders. Plan development processes to meet defined timelines. Share activity status reports with immediate managers. Document the development procedure at each project stage. Use modeling techniques and tools to analyze and specify data structures in large/complex datasets. Implement best practices in data management to ensure data integrity and quality, delivering analyzable data to internal and external clients. Collect and analyze data to provide valuable insights. Manage databases, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. Generate reports and present findings to aid in decision-making. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience as a SQL Data Analyst, with a strong focus on data mining. Exceptional attention to detail and a solid understanding of business and industry trends. Ability to produce clear documentation for business requirements and information for auditors. Advanced SQL skills, experience in data modeling, and ETL design. Collaborate with DBAs on database administration tasks, including creating new databases and managing storage resources. Experience with advanced data analytics, transformation, and management projects. Knowledge of dimensional modeling and business intelligence support.
