| From: Anand Singh, TEK Inspirations LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] In-person Interview in Montgomery AL Must Have State of AL Quality Assurance Analyst/Software Tester Montgomery AL (Onsite from day 1) 6+ Months contract to Hire USC and GC only Responsibilities: Design, execute, and debug test plans of software applications based on business requirements and technical specifications. Review project requirements and develop appropriate test cases to validate all project requirements are met and produce the expected results. Detect and identify web-based configuration/workflow failures so that issues are discovered, documented, corrected, and retested. Evaluate software ease of usability and error handling procedures. Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management. Document test results and generate historical analysis of applications capabilities and functionality. Document configuration anomalies and defects in an issue tracking database. Participate in application planning/design meetings. Provide application instructions for users. Skills Required Software Testing Test Case Development Detect and identify web-based software failures Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Defect Tracking and Test Case Management Interpret process diagrams (Business Process Workflow diagrams) Communication skills, both verbally and in writing Collaboration skills in a cross-functional teams Keen attention to detail and processes Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Listening and interpersonal skills Highly self-motivated, responsible, and cooperative Proficient in Microsoft software, service desk ticket management, and communication tools Skills Preferred Ability to quickly learn a new system and adapt to change Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies Knowledge of software development, project management, requirement gathering lifecycles Creative thinker and able to provide unbiased reporting (good and bad results) Experience Required 3 years of experience with the following: Performing software testing Creating test cases Web-based software/application testing Requirements traceability Microsoft Windows PC and web browser testing environment Experience 5+ years of software testing experience. Education Required Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or similar. (Equivalent work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis) Education Preferred Professional training on IT processes including but not limited to business analysis, software development, and project managemen t Certifications are encouraged and welcomed, but not required.
