Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams to define and implement roadmaps for transitioning to modern cloud-based data warehousing solutions. Design, develop, and maintain data governance and management processes using tools like IGC, IKC, or Collibra. Conduct data capacity planning, life cycle, duration, usage requirements, feasibility studies. Ensure the data infrastructure meets the needs of business operations by ensuring data quality, integrity, and security. Work closely with business analysts, developers, business users, architects, and DBAs to ensure the data warehouse supports business goals. Drive initiatives related to data integration, ETL processes, and data migration strategies. Provide leadership and mentorship to the data warehouse team, ensuring best practices in data architecture and engineering are followed. Monitor performance and manage scaling strategies for existing data warehouse environments. Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations in data warehouse and data management technologies, recommending improvements as necessary. Required Skills and Qualifications: Skill Required /Desired Amount Candidate Experience Advanced skills in Data Warehousing, Data Analytics and Data Architecture Required 15 Years Strong Background in data governance, data quality, data lineage and enterprise master data management Required 15 Years Experience working with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server Database Developement. Required 15 Years Written and oral communications Required 15 Years Familiarity with data modeling, data lakes, and big data technologies. Required 15 Years Expertise with modern cloud data warehouse platforms such as Azure Synapse or Snowflake. Required 12 Years Strong Experience with other data integration tools and techniques including IBM DataStage, IBM IKC or Collibra Required 12 Years Experience to use Snowflake Highly desired 10 Years Experience with Automation and AI in Data Warehousing Highly desired 10 Years Knowledge of big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
