Client: State of Michigan Job description; Job Title: IT Business Analyst 4 Location: Lansing, MI 48933 Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: Hybrid Key Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service supporting project and work request needs. Act as a liaison between DTMB (Department of Technology, Management and Budget) and project stakeholders. Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop strategies for IT solutions. Participate in various meetings to discuss project activities and assist Agency Partners with compliance. Requirements: General Experience: Minimum of 16 years as a Business Analyst. Extensive experience using Azure DevOps, VISIO, MS office products Facilitation Skills: Strong experience in requirements elicitation and gap fit analysis. Documentation: Ability to prepare detailed user needs and technical specifications. Agile Experience: At least 5 years managing user stories in Agile projects. Senior Management Interaction: Minimum of 2 years working with senior management to develop strategies. IT Solutions: Experience with projects that implement IT solutions for public use (minimum of 2 years). Regulatory Knowledge: 1 year of experience working with state/federal regulated programs. Ideal Candidate Traits: Self-directed, organized, and adaptable to changing needs. Quick to understand new assignments and build relationships.
