| Job Title: GCP Data Engineer Location: (New Jersey)// Sunnyvale CA Hybrid (Only locals of NJ & CA) Duration: Contract As a GCP Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll work closely with data analysts, scientists, and application developers to ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility. Responsibilities: Data Architecture: Design and implement robust data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts, on GCP. Data Ingestion: Develop efficient data ingestion pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into GCP data stores. Data Transformation: Create data transformation logic using SQL, Python, or other relevant tools to clean, normalize, and enrich data for analysis. Data Warehousing: Build and manage scalable data warehouses on GCP, such as BigQuery, to support complex analytics and reporting. Data Modeling: Design and implement data models that align with business requirements and support efficient querying. Data Quality: Establish data quality standards and implement processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Performance Optimization: Optimize data pipelines and query performance to improve data processing efficiency. Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and maintain GCP infrastructure, including compute instances, storage solutions, and networking components. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
