| Position: MS Access UI Developer Location: Albany, NY Hybrid Role is currently remote but, hybrid may be required in the future. Rate: 60/hr C2C Duration: Long term USC/GC only Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Microsoft (MS) Access Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing MS Access front end user interfaces and databases using Visual Basic. As a MS Access User Interface and Database Designer you will strategically support our clients, partners, and stakeholders primarily through application of strong Microsoft Access user interface and database development and maintenance skills. The MS Access database(s) will be used to support the internal team conducting quality assurance surveillance reviews by intaking review determinations, monitoring review workflows, and providing technological solutions that meet our business needs. Education and Experience: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, or a related discipline. At least 3 years of related experience is required. Related experience must include the creation and maintenance of Microsoft Access user interfaces and back-end databases. An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a user-friendly Microsoft Access user interface and back-end database for internal team use. Maintain and update the user interface and back-end database based on team requirements for each review year and enhancements to improve user experience. Effectively document MS Access database processes and architecture. Ensure data integrity by performing database back-ups and monitoring. Perform database quality verification checks to ensure proper functioning of MS Access database. Provide technical assistance and support related to the database usage to end users. Staying up to date with Microsoft Access best practices and industry trends. Required Qualifications: Extensive proven experience creating and maintaining Microsoft Access user interfaces and back-end databases. Strong knowledge of Access forms, reports, queries, VBA programing, and advanced Excel skills. Experience utilizing VBA in the creation and maintenance of Microsoft Access user interfaces for databases. Experience writing ad hoc advanced queries in SQL. Experience with integration of Microsoft Access with other Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Excel, Outlook). Strong business analytic and professional communication skills. Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills. Proficiency with translating complex analytic ideas into actionable insights for varied levels of audience. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of data management in relation to intaking and storing data via the user interface, and ensuring data is available for analysis by a data analyst. Ability to work in a remote capacity, as well as in the office setting. Experience in health care or health care related field. Experience developing reports based on collected data.
