| From: UTTAM BARMAN, SONITALENTCORP [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: Sr. BA Scrum Master - User stories & Jira Work location: Houston, TX( Onsite) 3-4 days onsite Duration : 6-12+ Months VISA : NEED INDEPENDENT CON SULTANT (1099 , OWN CORP , W2 ) JOB Description: - Experience: - 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst. - Proven experience in the waste and recycling industry or a related field is preferred. - Hands-on experience in writing user stories and working with Jira for task management. - Strong knowledge and practical experience with Scrum and other Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: - Requirement Gathering & Documentation: - Collaborate with on-site stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements. - Conduct workshops and interviews with users to ensure accurate requirement capture. - Translate business needs into well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows. - User Story Creation & Backlog Management: - Develop clear and concise user stories and tasks in Jira, ensuring alignment with business needs. - Maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring that stories are well defined and ready for development. - Scrum Participation & Facilitation: - Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams to ensure successful project delivery. - Process Improvement: - Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement, providing recommendations to optimize system workflows in waste and recycling operations. - Client-Facing Stakeholder Management: - Act as a primary liaison between clients, business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to ensure that requirements are accurately translated into solutions. - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders on-site to track progress and ensure successful outcomes. - Domain Expertise: - Preferred knowledge of the waste and recycling industry to provide insights and guidance in solution design. - Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the business.
