[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Datawarehouse Architect Position Type: Hybrid, Richmond, VA Local canidadates only USC or GC Job Description Position Overview: The Data Warehouse Technical Architect will have over 15 years of experience in data warehousing, data governance, and cloud infrastructure, who will provide strategic oversight for both on-premises and cloud-based technologies like Oracle Data Warehouse, IBM DataStage, Azure Synapse, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will lead data transformation initiatives, collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to define future data strategies, and ensure data quality and governance using tools such as IBM Information Governance Catalog, Collibra, or Azure Data Factory. Certifications in Oracle, Azure, or Snowflake technologies preferred. Duties: Provide technical oversight and support for existing data warehouse technologies including Oracle Data warehouse and DataStage. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams to define and implement roadmaps for transitioning to modern cloud-based data warehousing solutions. Design, develop, and maintain data governance and management processes using tools like IGC, IKC, or Collibra. Conduct data capacity planning, life cycle, duration, usage requirements, feasibility studies. Ensure the data infrastructure meets the needs of business operations by ensuring data quality, integrity, and security. Work closely with business analysts, developers, business users, architects, and DBAs to ensure the data warehouse supports business goals. Drive initiatives related to data integration, ETL processes, and data migration strategies. Provide leadership and mentorship to the data warehouse team, ensuring best practices in data architecture and engineering are followed. Monitor performance and manage scaling strategies for existing data warehouse environments. Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations in data warehouse and data management technologies, recommending improvements as necessary. Required Skills: 15 years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Analytics and Data Architecture 15 years of experience in data governance, data quality, data lineage and enterprise master data management 15 years of experience working with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server Database Development. 15 years of familiarity with data modelling, data lakes, and big data technologies. 12 years of expertise with modern cloud data warehouse platforms such as Azure Synapse or Snowflake. 12 years of experience with other data integration tools and techniques including IBM DataStage, IBM IKC or Collibra Preferred Skills: 10 years of experience to use Snowflake 10 years of experience with Automation and AI in Data Warehousing 10 years of experience with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
