We have an exciting opportunity for vendors who specialize in ---------------, Job Description: Role- SAP Hana Security Consultant Location- Newark, NJ (Onsite) Contract Experience Required: Overall Experience: 8+ years in SAP Security, with expertise in SAP Basis and SAP HANA. HANA Security Experience: Minimum of 4 years specifically focused on SAP HANA and S/4HANA security. Cloud Expertise: 2-3 years of experience in Public or Private Cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities: SAP HANA Security Administration: Develop and implement security policies, roles, and authorization models in SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments. Configure and manage access control, including role-based security, data masking, and audit logging. Implement SAP security best practices for identity management, encryption, SSL certificate handling, and SSO (Single Sign-On) configurations. Security Monitoring & Compliance: Monitor and review SAP system logs for security compliance, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities. Configure and manage SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) for Early Watch alerts, system health checks, and compliance audits. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks. Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Handle security incidents by troubleshooting authorization issues, security breaches, and audit failures. Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for identified security incidents. Manage system integrity by performing OS-level checks, analyzing security logs, and applying relevant OSS notes. System & Transport Security: Secure TMS (Transport Management System) and manage transport strategies across multiple environments. Configure and secure transport layers, and ensure compliance during client copies, system refreshes, and upgrades. Cloud Security & Connectivity: Implement cloud-specific security controls and best practices for SAP HANA on GCP or other cloud platforms. Manage security configurations for hybrid environments (SaaS, on-premises, and cloud). Ensure network security, firewall rules, and VPN configurations meet SAP security requirements. Access Management & Performance Tuning: Optimize access and authorization processes to reduce redundancy and improve performance. Manage SQL trace and performance tuning specifically related to authorization checks and user access. Required Skills: Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP HANA architecture, security configurations, and user access management. Cloud & On-Premise Security: Proficient in security configurations across on-prem and cloud SAP landscapes. Compliance & Audit Knowledge: Experienced in SOX, GDPR, and SAP-specific compliance requirements. SAP Solution Manager (SolMan): Skilled in using SolMan for security monitoring, Early Watch alerts, and system health checks. Other Key Attributes: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for root cause analysis and performance tuning. Proficient in collaborating with stakeholders for project planning, scoping, and compliance updates. Capable of guiding a technical team on security best practices and ensuring adherence to SAP security standards.
