Job Description - Sr. Data Scientist - Python/R/Hadoop/Spark/Predictive models/ML/Power BI/Tableau II PV W2 position Client :- Technology Partners Internal Project Location :- Dallas, TX area Hybrid Visa :- USC & GC Required From the Dallas-Fort Worth or relocate/Occasional onsite meetings required. Masters or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics. Python, R, and SQL. Big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Azure data environments. Conduct light data engineering tasks (data integration, cleansing, and preparation). Expertise in developing and implementing predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis. Strong skills in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and storytelling with data Requirements At least 5-7 years of experience as a Senior Data Scientist with a proven track record of delivering impactful data science solutions. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL. Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Familiarity with cloud-based data environments (Azure preferred). Ability to conduct light data engineering tasks (data integration, cleansing, and preparation). Expertise in developing and implementing predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis. Strong skills in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and storytelling with data. Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset, capable of working closely with executives. Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions. Experience in working with cross-functional teams to drive business improvement and outcomes. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish. Preferred Qualifications Candidates from the Dallas-Fort Worth area are preferred, as occasional onsite meetings may be required. A masters or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Experience with sales data analytics and creating operational data triggers is a plus. Strong business communication skills, able to navigate fast-paced environments.
