| From: Sumit Kumar Munda, Vyze [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - (Need to be located on the West Coast or Central) Job Title: Security Compliance Contractor Location: California Remote - need to be on West Coast or Central prefer California Duration: 12 months Qualifications: Must have a minimum of (5) five years of experience in the field of Information Security (3) three of those (5) five years experience related to IT Security Risk Assessment and IT audit. Core competencies: Knowledge and experience with risk assessments and analysis; network and host-based security strategies and methodologies; incident response; information security awareness and education; and a strong technical background with experience and knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, intrusion detection/protection, active content, malware, defense in depth. Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, including the ability to create, plan and organize effective presentations. And lead groups to a common goal. Good interpersonal skills as demonstrated by working in a collaborative environment. Knowledge of and experience in HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-SP 53, and Centers for Medicare and/or Medicaid Services (CMS) security standards Experience with security audits and assessments like SOC 2, SOC 1 (Security Domain), NIST, CMS, SOX will be beneficial as a variety of these are conducted annually Evidence gathering and task management a key skill Substantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications and outsourced systems including a good understanding of computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities. Identity attestations for role based access and privileged access reviews are part of the deliverables and job requirements Extensive experience using Microsoft office for data analysis and word processing software to develop plans, procedures, and reports. Project management experience preferred. SCRUM, Agile, waterfall PM (Project Manager) experience preferable. CISA, CISSP or CISM certification a plus We would like to include knowledge of California SIMM and SAM regulations would be important as the control evidence we provide will tie into these where required.
